I am an entirely self-taught artist and photographer, with a genuine passion for wildlife which has taken me to some of the most exotic places around the world.   I have travelled extensively, with a special interest in Latin America and the Indian Sub-Continent, in search of some of the most exotic species of the world.  My desire to photograph and paint wildlife, in particular birds, stems from a deep fascination and respect  for the natural world.

My vast knowledge of birds and wildlife has helped me to locate my chosen subjects and aided successful works, photographs and sketches taken on my travels both abroad, and based around my home in Surrey, where I live close by to heathland habitat.

My art paintings are mainly mixed media of watercolour and acrylics and some feature a collection of the exotic birds seen in various countries, and portraits, finely painted in a unique style.

From a very young age, I have had a particular interest for painting birds of prey. Since travelling to the tropics in 1990, I developed a deep fascination for the exotic species found there, which changed my life and art forever.

I am a member of the Wildlife Art Society International and have exhibited widely throughout the UK, including Warwick, Bourton-on-the-Water, Woodstock in Oxon, Odiham, Farnham, Egham and Henley-on-Thames, where I have also held a one man exhibition.

I am fortunate to have a growing number of commissions for private clients and have had work shipped to collectors as far afield as South Africa, Japan and the United States of America.

I hope you will take the time to enjoy my paintings and photo galleries which represent just some of my favourite pieces.  I would welcone your feedback and enquiries.
